Coronavirus and a subsequent lockdown have brought various challenges, one of them being the survival of daily wage earners and migrant labourers. Speaking about how Oxfam India, a non-profit organisation, is addressing the challenge, Amitabh Behar, Chief Executive Officer of Oxfam India, listed out two initiatives - providing cooked meals and dry ration to the people in need; reaching out to frontline workers who don't have enough personal protective equipment (PPE) and other protective gears.
