Surat based Engineer and Environmentalist Snehal Patel lives in a home which is set in the heart of nature and is completely off the grid. While solar and wind power is used to electrify Patel's house, LED lights and high-efficiency gadgets ensure minimum power consumption. In addition to this, the eco-home has no water or sewer connection and recycles and reuses rainwater. Instead of an air conditioner, greenery, as well as a water body, provides natural air conditioning in the home.
