Elections 2014: Sport stars gear up for their political innings
As the poll express gathers momentum, many sport stars have hit the campaign trail to gear up for the biggest battle of them all ? Elections 2014.
Former India cricket skipper and Indian National Congress party candidate, Mohammad Azharuddin, is confident of returning to parliament for a second term. He has shifted from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh to Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok Sabha constituency in Rajasthan that goes to the poll on April 24. The former cricketer Mohammed Kaif addresses an election campaign rally in Pratapgarh. Kaif has been fielded from Uttar Pradesh's Phulpur constituency, on a Congress ticket for the Lok Sabha elections. The Phulpur constituency is one of the 80 parliamentary seats in Uttar Pradesh and goes to poll on May 7.
