Nagarajan, a father of two young children, is from Coimbatore. He is one of the USHA Silai School's men learners who, after completing his training, now owns a shop and runs his own sewing school.

Today, Nagarajan earns more than Rs. 500 a day. Out of this, while he keeps Rs.100 for his production expenses, he uses the rest for funding the education of his children.

Nagrajan is just one the many men learners who have benefited from the USHA Silai School initiative. Since states like Tamil Nadu and the neighboring places face increasing instances of unemployment, such initiatives have proved to be fruitful in creating employment within the states boundaries, curbing migration.
