Wanindu Hasaranga gave RCB a much-needed breakthrough after Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha gave GT a fine start. He ended the game with figures of two for 28.
Shahbaz Ahmed combined with Hasaranga as RCB managed to take four quick wickets in the middle overs. He took two for 26 from his quota of three overs.
Rahul Tewatia once again stepped up when GT were struggling to reach the total. He played an unbeaten knock of 43 off just 25 balls, and won the game for his team.
David Miller continued his purple patch, smashing a quickfire 39 off just 24 balls. His 79-run stand with Tewatia proved decisive in the end.
