IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians Down RR To Register First Win Of The Season

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl vs Rajasthan Royals at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai on Saturday.

Jos Buttler remained key to RR's chances of putting up a big score after MI picked up two wickets of Devdutt Padikkal and skipper Sanju Samson in quick succession.

MI bowlers bowled a tight line and length to prevent RR batters from scoring boundaries and dried up the scoring from either end.

Jos Buttler took on Hrithik Shokeen and hit the spinner for 4 successive sixes as he completed yet another fifty in IPL 2022 before being dismissed for 67 runs. RR finish at 158/6 in 20 overs.
