IPL 2023: Chennai Super Kings Sweat It Out In Nets Ahead Of Season Opener

IPL 2023 has brought back the concept of home and away matches, which marks the return of MS Dhoni and CSK to their fortress, Chepauk. The crowd went crazy as soon as Dhoni entered the practice ground.

The four-time IPL champions had a forgetful outing in the last edition as they had finished at the ninth place on the points table. CSK will aim for redemption in this season.

CSK missed the services of their ace pacer Deepak Chahar last season, as he recovering from an injury. He will be back in the yellow colour in IPL 2023 and will aim for a blistering performance.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was appointed as the skipper of CSK for a brief period of time in 2022. However, he failed to deliver a good performance and MS Dhoni took over the reigns.

In the IPL 2023 auction, CSK successfully acquired the services of England Test skipper Stokes at a whopping price of Rs. 16.25 Cr.
