IPL 2023: No-Ball Scare Nearly Costs CSK Match Against LSG

Pacer Tushar Deshpande played an important role in CSK's win over LSG in their IPL 2023 match on Monday. The pacer scalped two wickets while defending 218 runs.

However, Tushar ended up bowling 3 no-balls and 4 wides during the match, which nearly took CSK on the verge of defeat.

While handshakes were taking place between players after the conclusion of the match, skipper MS Dhoni was busy speaking to Deshpande.

After the match, Dhoni even bluntly warned the bowlers that if they don't improve, he would step aside from the captaincy.

Coming to the match, CSK registered a win by 12 runs in a thrilling high-coring battle against LSG on Monday, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed 57 off 31 balls, while Devon Conway scored 47 off 29 balls to take CSK to a huge total of 217/7 in 20 overs.

Skipper MS Dhoni marked his return to Chepauk in style as he smashed a six on the very first delivery he faced. It was followed by another six on the delivery, before getting out on the third one.
