Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav registered a historic feat in IPL 2025 during the Eliminator match against Gujarat Titans in Mullanpur.
Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Titans by 20 runs in the Eliminator match of IPL 2025 and reached Qualifier 2.
Opting to bat first, MI posted a whopping total for 228/5 in 20 overs with Rohit Sharma scoring 81 off 50 balls.
Later, GT put up a strong fight but MI restricted them to 208/6 and won the match by 20 runs.
Apart from the victory, MI batter Suryakumar Yadav also registered a historic feat. He scored 33 off 20 balls against GT.
With this, Suryakumar Yadav registered his 15th 25+ score in IPL 2025. This is the most by any player in the history of the tournament.
He surpassed the record of Kane Williamson, who scored 13 25+ scores in IPL 2018.
