Sachin Tendulkar was felicitated by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda ahead of the Ranji Trophy opener between Mumbai and Haryana at Lahli, Rohtak on October 27, 2013. It was Sachin's final appearance in a domestic tie as he prepares for his farewell Test series against West Indies in November.

It wasn't a particularly happy outing for Sachin and his team in the first innings as Mumbai were bowled out for 136, replying to Haryana's total of 134. Sachin was clean bowled for 5 by medium pacer Mohit Sharma, who also plays for MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.

Sachin makes the long walk back to the hut after being bowled for 5. It was only the second time that Sachin was playing at Lahli.

Sachin here is seen fielding in the outfield of the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium. No surprises, he was the crowd favourite at the 8000-capacity ground.

Sachin's job was cut out in the second innings as his team Mumbai were set a 240-run target on a bowling friendly track.

The Master Blaster batted with much responsibility shielding one end up and anchoring the Mumbai innings on Day 3 of the Ranji tie at Lahli. He shared a consolidating 51-run stand with Abhishek Nayar.

Mostly circumspect, Sachin did put the loose balls away whenever they were on offer.

At times, in order to get quick runs, the Master Blaster did use his patent upper dab shot over the slips.

Sachin finally reached his fifty, his 115th half-century in first-class cricket and 19th in Ranji Trophy. His unfinished 55 on Day 3 made sure Mumbai need another 39 runs on the fourth and final day to start their Ranji title defence with a win.

Mumbai reached the target with ease and as was expected, Sachin was lifted on the shoulders by his teammates as the Master ended his domestic career in the best possible way.
