EcoFemme, a social enterprise started in Auroville, Pondicherry in 2010 primarily makes cloth pads. They use certified organic cotton and it sells to a large number of buyers internationally and to Indian customers via some retail and online e-commerce portals. Money generated through cloth pad sales, funds EcoFemmes non-profit activities.
