India reported 132 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number infections to 4,46,82,338.
The active caseload has declined to 1,906 cases, that comprises of 0.01% of the total infections.
The country also reported one Covid related death, taking the total number of fatalities count to 5,30,738.

Maharashtra Records 3 New Covid CasesMaharashtra on Friday recorded three COVID-19 cases, which took the state's tally to 81,37,103, while the death toll stood unchanged at 1,48,421, a health official said.The recovery count increased by 16 to touch 79,88,601, leaving the state with an active caseload of 81, he said.
Chhattisgarh Records 1 New COVID-19 CaseChhattisgarh on Friday reported one COVID-19 case at a positivity rate of 0.08 per cent, taking the tally to 11,77,776, an official said.The death toll remain unchanged at 14,146, while the recovery count increased by one and reached 11,63,627, leaving the state with three active cases, he said.
