#RefuseIfYouCannotReuse: Climate Activist Aditya Mukarji Leads The Charge Against Plastic Pollution

26 million plastic straws removed from this planet, courtesy one 20-year-old climate activist - Aditya Mukhrji. At the mere age of 14, Aditya kick-started his sustainable journey by promoting the most important R in the waste management hierarchy – REFUSE. He champions the idea of "Individual Social Responsibility," encouraging everyone to take action in their own lives and inspire those around them to do the same.

About The Campaign

5th largest economy in the world

India is on its way to be among the top three economies by 2030.

As a nation, we are committed to boost this growth in a manner that has a positive impact on people, natural resources and environment.

In alignment with India’s commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2070, NDTV will start a six-week campaign called the India Sustainability Mission, which will be a conversation dedicated to promoting sustainable practices to manage our e-waste better and be more conscious as a producer and consumer.
