Zomato co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal was awarded the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at the NDTV Indian Of The Year Awards. When asked about the recent Zomato Veg fleet controversy, Mr Deepinder said, "We conducted a survey and the result we received was, that people would order more if there were veg fleets. The way we grew up, none of us knew the historical context of it so we were indifferent to it. But when we got the feedback, we understood and made the change".
