Far from the national spotlight, a motorcycle rally to raise public awareness in some of the most backward areas of Jharkhand, harping on the need of getting children enrolled in schools to protect them from being sucked into the vicious cycle of child labour, exploitation and abuse and connecting the poor and socio-economically marginalised population with the government's social security schemes. Placards held up by children echoed the rally objective loud and clear:

"If you make kids work, you will go straight to jail!"
