It Is A Shame Just How Rampant Child Abuse Is In This Country: Amod Kanth

According to a national study done in 2005-07, where 18,000 children were examined, it was found that every second child reported some kind of sexual abuse.Quoting this study which lead to the formulation of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), Amod Kanth lamented the state of India's children. Amod Kanth is the Founder of Prayaas and Former Joint Commissioner, Delhi Police. He is also the Former Chairperson, Delhi Commission for the Protection of Child Rights.
