Six Minor Girls In Jharkhand Rescued From The Clutches Of Traffickers

The raging coronavirus pandemic has heightened the vulnerability of children manifold, especially those from the rural hinterland. With shrinking family incomes and job avenues turning dry, traffickers are now targeting children with false promises of a better life. And even before they realise that they have been trafficked, children are pushed into forced labour and even commercial sexual exploitation. Here's a story of six minor girls from Jharkhand who were being trafficked on the pretext of vocational training. It's only after the Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation got a tip off, girls were saved.
