Sexually Abused 30 Years Ago, Survivors Still Await Justice

Raped when they were teenagers, some of the survivors have now become grandmothers but justice is yet to be served. While the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act demands trials to be completed within a year, backlogs and loopholes in the system are only defeating the purpose.
