Amitabh Kant Praises Resilience Shown By Kerala During Crisis

Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog, said that he was devastated on seeing the floods in Kerala. Praising the resilience and determination displayed by people of Kerala, Mr Kant said that the response to Kerala floods was an example of great partnership. Mr Kant said that steps must be taken to ensure that epidemics do not arise in the aftermath of the floods. Stressing on the importance of planning and designing, the Niti Aayog CEO said that focus must be on building a green Kerala.
