The 2022 carandbike Awards is now in its 17th year, and this year's jury meet welcomed a range of exciting cars, motorcycles and scooters. Our esteemed jury members had a blast of a time testing these new machines at the Buddh International Circuit, at Greater Noida. The 2022 carandbike Awards is now in its 17th year, and this year's jury meet welcomed a range of exciting cars, motorcycles and scooters. Our esteemed jury members had a blast of a time testing these new machines at the Buddh International Circuit, at Greater Noida. Day 1 of the jury meet was all about two-wheeler and what a turnout we had this year. Right from the practical and fun TVS Raider 125 to the mighty Suzuki Hayabusa we had them all.

Here's jury member Rayomand Banajee, an an 8-Time National Formula Racing and Go-Karting Champion, registering himself at the front desk at BIC.

Preetam Bora, testing the very fun and capable TVS Raider 125. The motorcycle bagged the 2022 CNB Commuter Motorcycle of the Year award this year.

Here we have jury member Aishwarya Pissay testing the off-road credentials of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. This bike won the CNB Adventure Motorcycle of the Year Award this year.

The new Royal Enfield was nominated this year in the Modern Classic Motorcycle of the year category, and it also won the award. Here we have jury member and actor Gul Panag testing the motorcycle at BIC.

Preetam Bora tests the new TVS Jupiter 125. The all-new 125 cc scooter won the 2022 CNB Scooter of the Year award this year.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 250, winner of the 2022 CNB Performance Motorcycle of the Year.

From one naked bike to another, here we have the Triumph Trident 660, winner of the 2022 CNB Premium Performance Motorcycle of the Year.

And this one right here is the meanest of them all. The new Ducati Streetfighter V4, the winner of this year's CNB Premium Sports Motorcycle of the Year.

That's Siddharth Vinayak Patankar putting the new Ducati Multistrada V4 S through its paces. The bike won the 2022 CNB Premium Adventure Motorcycle of the Year award.

How can we forget the mighty Suzuki Hayabusa? While the jury members loved it, it lost the title of the CNB Premium Sports Motorcycle of the Year to the Ducati Streetfighter V4.

The BMW C 400 GT, the first maxi scooter from the Bavarian brand to be launched in India. This year it won the Premium Scooter of the Year award.

Here's the Triumph Speed Triple RS. The beautiful British roadster was a crowd favourite, however, Ducati's Streetfighter V4 was just a little better.

Day 2 was all about cars, and the jury members were more than eager to put this year's contestants through their paces at the Buddh International Circuit.

A quick discussion among our jury members. While Siddharth, Gul, V Sumantran and Rayomand were were part of the two-wheeler jury panel as well, carandbike Associate Editor, Ameya Naik has joined the panel for car jury rounds.

This year's CNB awards had a number electric cars, and here we have some of our jury members at the dedicated charging station that was set up by our title sponsor Tata Power at the BIC for the jury rounds.

The Tata Punch is certainly one of the nicer cars we drove in 2021, and micro SUV managed to impress our jury members as well. The car went on to bag two awards at the 2022 carandbike Awards.

The Celerio was certainly an impressive offering from Maruti, however it lost the 2022 CNB Entry Car of the Year title to the Tata Punch this year.

The Renault Kiger is one of the most affordable subcompact SUVs in India, however, in addition to a attractive price tag, the carmaker has also managed to offer an impressive vehicle. And that's what prompted our jury members to select this as the 2022 CNB Subcompact Car of the Year.

The Tata Tigor EV was one of the few electric vehicle we had in our jury meet, and it's right now most affordable electric four-wheeler in India. However, it lost the 2022 CNB Subcompact Car of the Year to the Kiger this year.

The Volkswagen Taigun truly impressed us last year when we reviewed it and the same was the case with our jury members. The Taigun went on to win the 2022 CNB Compact SUV of the Year, and even the prestigious CNB Car of the Year.

The new-gen Skoda Octavia was also part of the jury meet this year, and it was standing unopposed for the 2022 CNB Midsize of the Year award.

The Mahindra XUV700 truly impressed everyone from the media when we drove it last year. And it even managed to score good marks from our jury members. The SUV went on to bag the 2022 CNB Midsize SUV of the Year.

The Citroen C5 Aircross is certainly a capable SUV and its ride and handling were its strongest USPs, which managed to impress our jury members as well. The SUV manages to defeat the A-Class Limousine and the GLA to bag the CNB Premium Compact Car of the Year award.

The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is the long wheelbase version of the existing 3 Series sedan and the focus here was on the extra space inside the cabin. That's just one of the things that impressed our jury members, which helped it bag the 2022 CNB Premium Sedan Of The Year.

The Jaguar I-Pace is yet another electric SUV that has joined the car jury meet, and the model went on to bag the 2022 CNB Premium SUV of the Year award.

The Mercedes-Mayback GLS 600 is the flagship luxury SUV from the Stuttgart-based carmaker, and this year it went up against the S-Class for the 2022 CNB Luxury Car of the Year title. However, it was the latter that bagged the crown.

The BMW M340i was also part of the jury meet this year, and the car went up against the Audi RS5 Sportback, AMG A35, AMG A 45 S, and AMG E 63 S among others to bag the 2022 CNB Performance Car Of The Year award.

The Audi e-Tron GT is Audi's flagship EV, and the sportier guise of the EV - the Audi RS e-Tron GT - has won the 2022 Sports Car of the Year award! Considering the tough competition it faced from brilliant cars like Ferrari F8 Tributo & Roma, Lamborghini Huracan RWD and Huracan STO, and the Porsche Taycan, this is a very remarkable achievement for the EV to win this award.
