The carandbike Awards have grown to clearly stand out amongst the clutter of automotive awards in India, by being the most credible and fair. Now in its 16th year, the awards have also become trendsetters, pioneering many categories, in addition to the prestigious Car of the Year and Bike of the Year awards. This year in fact, will even saw the tech awards being introduced given the big focus on technology by most automakers in the country.

Clean, sanitised, and in line with the social distancing norms, our hospitality partner, JW Marriott certainly arranged a beautiful venue for our esteemed guests from the auto industry.

Here's Dr. Pawan Goenka, MD & CEO Mahindra & Mahindra in conversation with Dr. Pawan Mujal, President, CEO & MD Hero MotoCorp. This year, carandbike facilitated both these dignitaries for their contribution to the auto industry. While Dr. Goenka received the Param Shreshth awards, Dr. Munjal became the recipient of the Visioneer Award.

Ameya Naik, Associate Editor, carandbike. along with team Volkswagen India, which took home the awards for both the CNB Mid-Size SUV of the Year and CNB Full-Size SUV of the Year, for the T-Roc and Tiguan Allspace respectively.

Team Kia Motors India also took home the award for the 2021 CNB MPV of the Year for the Carnival.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 won this year's CNB Modern Classic Motorcycle of the Year. It was also crowned the 2021 CNB Motorcycle of the Year.

Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman, Managing Director & CEO of Hero MotoCorp accepting the 2021 Visioneer Award. He's only the second person to receive this prestigious award from carandbike, the only person to win this award before him was his father Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal.

Team Ducati India gleefully accepting the award for the 2021 CNB Sports Motorcycle of the Year for the Ducati Panigale V2.

Pratap Bose, VP, Global Design, Tata Motors was awarded the 2021 CNB Automotive Person of the Year, making him the first automobile designer to win this award. He accepted this award virtually.

Tata Motors also won the award for the 2021 CNB EV of the Year (four-wheeler) for the Nexon EV, along with the 2021 CNB Car Design of the Year and Best Safety Tech awards for the Altroz.

Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Marketing & Sales, and Saba Khan, Head Corporate Communications, from Honda Cars India accepting the 2021 CNB Compact Sedan of the Year award for the new-gen Honda City.

Kookhyun Shim, MD & CEO, Kia Motors India accepting the 2021 CNB Business Leader of the Year award for lead the company to become the fourth largest carmaker in India in less than 2 years with just 3 models.

Hero MotoCorp's Xtreme 160 R won the award for the 2021 CNB Viewers' Choice Motorcycle of the Year.

Dr. Pawan Goenka, MD & CEO Mahindra & Mahindra with Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, Editor in Chief, carandbike, as he accepts the 2021 Param Shreshth Award. Dr. Goenka will be retiring from his current role at Mahindra in April 2021.

Royal Enfield won both the 2021 CNB Two-Wheeler Manufacturer of the Year and the 2021 CNB Motorcycle of the Year for the Meteor 350.

Kia Motors India won with 2021 CNB Car Manufacturer of the Year Award, along with the 2021 CNB Car of the Year Award for the Kia Sonet.
