Speaking at Save the Children and NDTV telethon #TheInvisibles, Bidisha Pillai, CEO, Save the Children, highlighted that the needs of children are very different from those of adults and are often overlooked. She further said that the impact of coronavirus outbreak lockdown on health and hunger of the children of the poor and migrant workers not only include them being deprived of nutrition but also being excluded from education. Save the Children has been working to provide relief to these children.
