A new age of great-power rivalry is redrawing the map of the world economy and forcing business chiefs to navigate around a growing number of global flashpoints.

The theme for this year's World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting, to be held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 16 to 20, will be 'Cooperation in a Fragmented World'.

Environmental lobby group Greenpeace accused attendees of the annual Davos meeting of a "distasteful masterclass in hypocrisy" on Friday over their use of private jets to travel to the event in the Swiss Alps.
