Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will lead a state-level delegation to Davos, Switzerland, from January 17 to 24 to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting-2026.

All eyes will be on Donald Trump next week as politicians and business leaders head to the World Economic Forum, wondering how to square the mercurial US leader with the Davos creed of open markets and multilateralism.

WEF President and CEO Borge Brende asserted that the five-day annual meeting beginning Jan. 18 will have a hard look at Ukraine, Gaza and Latin America, including Venezuela.
