Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Sunday sought the cancellation of Maharashtra industries minister Uday Samant's tour of the United Kingdom, Germany and Davos in Switzerland from October 3.

Telangana has attracted investments worth Rs 21,000 crore across various sectors during the recently concluded annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting at Davos in Switzerland.

Microsoft reportedly hosted a private concert by artist Sting for around 50 people including the company's top executives, during the annual World Economic Forum meeting at Davos. The concert came a night before the technology giant announced its was laying off 10,000 workers in its largest round of layoffs since 2014, as per the report.
