NDTV Food Awards Directors' Choice: Winners Revealed!

Finally, the long-awaited NDTV Food Awards was held on Sunday (March 3, 2024), at Gran Hyatt in Gurugram, in the presence of several eminent personalities from across the culinary industry of India. An interesting lineup of 14 categories was presented live at the event. Let's check out the list of winners in the Directors' Choice category.

Chef Manjit Gill handed over the 'Chef Of The Year' award to Hussain Shazad, executive chef at Hunger Inc.

Chef Hemant Oberoi handed over the 'Rising Star Chef Of The Year' award to Shubham Thakur, Chef De Cuisine at Megu, The Leela Palace in New Delhi.

NDTV Food editor Shubham Bhatnagar and food writer Rinku Madan handed over the 'Best Mixologist Of The Year' award to Varun Sharma.

Entrepreneur Rocky Mohan handed over the 'Excellence In Beverage Industry' award to Yangdup Lama, co-owner of Sidecar, New Delhi.Niki

Nikhil Sharma, MD, Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels handed over the' Best Restaurateur Of The Year' award to Zorawar Kalra.

Legendary chef Imtiaz Qureshi, the mastermind behind the culinary excellence of ITC Hotels, was inducted into the NDTV Food Awards 'Hall Of Fame'. Chef Imtiaz died on February 16, 2024, at the age of 93.

Ajay Khanna, senior vice president and managing director at Herbalife India was honoured with the 'Best Nutrition And Wellness Award'.
