The so called "Big Five" Academy Award categories (also known as the Oscar Grand Slam) include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and screenplay ? either Best Adapted Screenplay or Best Original Screenplay. It Happened One Night (1934) was the first film to win all the Big Five Oscars.
