Grand celebration were held across Telangana to mark 75 years of India's Independence. The two-week celebration kicked off on August 8 by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. The celebrations are an effort to inspire patriotic fervour and the spirit of nationalism. Thousands participated in rallies, amidst a sea of national flags.
