"Empowering Children With Clefts: Smile Train India's Efforts To Restore Smiles"

Every year, 35,000+ children are born in India with a cleft, impacting their ability to eat, breathe, speak, and smile. A large majority of these children lack access to cleft treatment that can change their lives.

Smile Train, the world's largest cleft-focused NGO, has been transforming lives in India by supporting 700,000+ free cleft surgeries since 2000. In partnership Bajaj Finserv, Smile Train is spearheading the "Maha Smiles" initiative, a comprehensive three-year project with an objective to facilitate early detection and timely treatment of clefts in Maharashtra. This powerful alliance is not just treating clefts but is fundamentally reshaping futures, empowering children to live healthy and full lives.
