The Narendra Modi government completed 3 years today. Marking the third anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a number of infrastructure projects in Assam today, one of them being India's longest bridge - The Bhupen Hazarika Bridge. In 2014, Narendra Modi led the Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP to a massive victory in the general elections - known as the Lok Sabha elections, following which he was sworn-in as Prime Minister on May 26 that year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India's longest bridge in Assam today and laid the foundation for an agricultural research institute as his government celebrated its third anniversary in events across the country. He accused the previous administration of "tokenism" and holding up real development. Celebrations of the government's anniversary - which also coincides with the first year of the BJP government in Assam - will last 20 days. Ministers and lawmakers from the BJP will be participating in programmes across the country.
