Welcome to the NDTV ‘Auto Awards 2025 Contest’ (“Contest”) organized and managed by NDTV Convergence Limited (“NDTV” / “us” / “we” / “our”) through its website www.ndtv.com (hereinafter referred to as the “NDTV Website”)

By participating in the Contest through the Website, you (“you” / “your” / “User”) will be eligible to win a chance to present an award (“Reward”) at the ‘NDTV Auto Awards 2025’ (“Event”) to be held at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi (“Venue”) on 28th February, 2025 (“Date of Event”) subject to the terms and conditions herein below.

All Users participating in the Contest shall deemed to have accepted and be bound by all the rules, regulations and terms of use referred to herein or published by NDTV in relation to the Contest on the NDTV Website or elsewhere (“Terms”). If you do not agree with or accept the aforesaid Terms, your participation in the Contest shall be considered null and void.

• Eligibility
  • The Contest shall commence from 19th February, 2025 and will conclude on 22nd February, 2025. However, NDTV reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend or change the duration, rules or terms and conditions, at any time, without prior notice. All changes will be effective immediately upon publishing on the NDTV Website. Users are responsible for reviewing the contest rules regularly to ensure they are aware of any updates or modifications.
  • A User must be a legal resident and citizen of India and at least 18 (eighteen) years of age at the time of registration for the said Contest.
  • Employees, representatives, or agents of NDTV, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in the Contest.
• Entry Requirements
  • Users agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information at the time of registration and at all other times (as required by us).
  • To win the Reward, each User is required to:
    • Visit the link https://special.ndtv.com/auto-awards-2025-182/
    • Vote online for their preferred nominees in 3 (three) categories of the Viewer’s Choice Awards.
    • Answer correctly 10 (ten) multiple choice questions relating to traffic regulations and the automotive industry posted/uploaded by NDTV and
    • Submit the complete name and age (as per a valid government-issued identification card), email address, location and mobile number for registration purposes.
• Selection and Reward
  • Users who answer all 10 (ten) questions correctly will be eligible to qualify for the Reward.
  • 3 (three) winners will be selected at NDTV’s sole discretion from among the participants who have answered all questions correctly (“Winners”).
  • Winners will be notified on 25th February, 2025 via the contact information provided at the time of registration.
  • Winners will attend the Event in-person and present the Viewer’s Choice Category Awards at the Event.
  • NDTV may bear the travel costs to and from the Venue for the Winners exclusively on the Date of Event within the territory of Delhi only.
• Rights and Usage
  • The User grants NDTV a worldwide, royalty free, unlimited, transferable, sub-licensable right and license to (a) use User’s name, photographs and videos for promotion in the manner as deemed fit by NDTV; (b) use personal information of the User to contact him/her for testimonials and promotions after the Contest; (c) use the personal information of the User for purposes defined under the Website’s privacy policy.
  • By participating in the Contest, the User expressly, freely and unambiguously consents to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer and retention of his/her personal information in accordance with the Website’s privacy policy. In order to learn more, we recommend Users to read and understand the privacy policy in its entirety.
• Liability and Indemnity
  • The Users shall participate in the Contest voluntarily and at his/ her own risk. We shall, under no circumstance, hold liability and/or responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any User, whether directly or indirectly, through its participation in the Contest or subsequent receipt or non-receipt of the Reward.
  • User hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NDTV, and its directors, employees, associate partners, third-party vendors and licensors, from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising from their participation in the Contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to tangible physical property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission on their part, or otherwise.
  • NDTV shall have no liability for any act or omission beyond its control including but not limited to any earthquake, flood, pandemic, epidemic, strike, lockout, labor controversy, riot, telecommunication failure, internet breakdown, software disruption, civil disturbance, war, civil commotion, etc.
• General Provisions
  • The Reward is non-transferable and is non-exchangeable, and no cash will be offered to any User in lieu of the Reward under any circumstance whatsoever.
  • We, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to alter, amend or deny the benefits and/or Reward and/or their criteria, in such manner, as we may deem fit without any liability to any User whatsoever.
  • If it comes to our notice that any governmental, statutory or regulatory compliances or approvals are required for organizing and managing the Contest or if it comes to our notice that conducting the Contest is prohibited, then we shall withdraw and/or cancel the Contest without prior notice to any User(s) or Winner(s) of the Contest. Users agree not to make any claim in respect of such cancellation or withdrawal of the Contest in any manner whatsoever.
  • User hereby confirms that he/she is participating in the Contest in his/ her personal capacity and not in the course of any business and/or profession. Only one registration and one vote in each of the 3 (three) categories per person/email id/mobile number is permissible. Multiple registrations using the same credentials will be disqualified. Any registration may be validated to ensure compliance with the Terms.
  • We, at our sole discretion, may disqualify any User from the Contest, refuse the Reward, if the User engages in unfair conduct, which we deem to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Contest or is in any way detrimental to other User(s) or attendees.
  • The provisions contained in these Terms shall be read, in addition to and not in derogation of, any other terms including but not limited to Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, etc. as may be published by NDTV from time to time (“Other Terms”). In case of any discrepancy between these Terms and Other Terms, unless otherwise expressly stated under the Other Terms, the provisions of these Terms shall prevail.
  • In case Users have any complaints or grievance pertaining to the Contest and/or these Terms, the same may be raised at legal@ndtv.com within 2 (two) calendar days from the date such complaint or grievance arose. On receiving such complaint, grievance or notice, we reserve the right to investigate and/or take such action as we may deem appropriate. The User must cooperate in good faith with NDTV pertaining to the aforesaid investigation and swift resolution.
  • Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.

I hereby confirm and attest that have carefully read and understood the above-mentioned Terms and Other Terms (as may be amended from time to time) and I expressly and voluntarily accept the same in order to participate in the Contest.
