Authorities have begun a special anti-encroachment near various metro stations here as the national capital prepares to host the G20 summit in September.

Mr Jaishankar said the development ministerial meeting of the G20 is an opportunity for "us to demonstrate solidarity on these development issues."

He underlined the growing data divide and said high-quality data is critical to meaningful policy-making.
