"Democracy Is Alive Because Of Poll Officers": Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar
While talking about the challenges that polling booth officers face, Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said, "Democracy is alive because of poll officers. Many poll officers bring their wives and children with them, they travel across the forest."
"There are only 500-600 people in the commission. During elections, we become 15 million, entire workforce of the country comes along," he added.
