Pratibha Pandey, Sr. Specialist - Health, ChildFund India talked about the three-pronged approach to prepare rural areas to fight Covid-19 - invest in healthcare providers, launch mass education programmes in rural areas and establish good surveillance systems to capture data on people infected or dying due to Covid-19, lack of which got highlighted during the second wave. She also highlighted the importance of preparing Covid care centres for children.
