Verified information and available resources, these were the two most critical requirements during the severity of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this, Odisha government launched a WhatsApp chatbot that provides citizens access to a host of medical services, verified information, COVID updates, mask wearing protocols, and now also vaccination slots. The chatbot has served over 2 million citizens so far.
