Transforming Lives Through Strategic Partnerships

USHA's strategic partnerships with companies like Tata Power, Star Cement, and Godavari Power & Ispat Ltd. foster shared values that empower women across India. Initiatives such as training centers in Mal and Chamata Pathar have directly impacted over 300 women, equipping them with skills for economic self-dependence. These collaborations not only uplift individuals but also transform communities, promoting entrepreneurship and a brighter future for women.

This initiative between USHA and TATA has empowered over 300 women directly in Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh by providing them with valuable skills and opportunities.

In Northeast India, USHA and Star Cement have launched a first of its kind project-training men in the mechanics and maintenance of sewing machines so they can provide technical support to women graduating from Silai Schools, their learners and other women from the villages. Through this project USHA is aligning its goals with the mandate of its corporate partners in their CSR ventures.

Located just an hour and a half's drive from Assam's Guwahati lies the USHA Silai School at Chamata Pathar. Run in partnership with Star Cement, this school is fostering self-dependence among the women of the region. USHA's alliances with similar organizations have significantly contributed to positively transforming the lives of numerous women across diverse communities.

This USHA-GPIL training center in Raipur has become a hub of creativity and empowerment. The women, once confined to their homes, now envision a brighter future. Some have started their own work, others are contributing to their families' income.
