USHA Silai School Women At Lakme Fashion Week With Designers Amit Vijaya And Richard Pandav

Santosh Kumwat and Sunita Devi Kumawat from Jaipur are two of the eight selected USHA Silai School women entrepreneurs, who got a chance to learn and work under the guidance of designers - Amit Trivedi and Richard Pandav to launch a clothing line at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018.

With Kaladhera, Rajasthan as their source of inspiration, Amit Trivedi and Richard Pandav's collection at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018 made a statement on the luxury of hand-made garments and the richness of Indian artisans.

The designer duo, from the National Institute of Design, created a collection that majorly promoted comfort and simplicity.

Bright colored fabrics and the easy-flowing style captured the ethos of the Rajasthani garments, which the designers along with their USHA Silai School women created, in line with the contemporary trends of today's time.

Keeping ?indulgence of comfort' as the defining trait of their collaborative collection, their clothing line turned out to be a booming hit at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018.

The designers worked with their team of USHA Silai School women and in the process trained them and made them aware about the current trends.
