A Trainee-Turned-Trainer, Balamani Is Helping Women Become Self-Reliant

Balamani, in her Usha Silai School in Jadcherla, Telangana, now imparts Silai training to other women, equipping them for self-employment. The remarkable aspect lies in the speed and extent with which Balamani has built her community, having trained over 350 women. This community has the potential to offer employment to numerous other women, creating a network of skilled artisans proficient not only in sewing and embroidery but also in various crafts.
