Britain's Prince Andrew spoke at the Davos annual meeting on Thursday to "reaffirm" official denials of claims he had sex with an underaged girl employed by an American billionaire and convicted sex offender.
It is the first time the prince has appeared in public since the allegations surfaced late last month, when Buckingham Palace was forced to issue an unprecedented public denial.
Speaking on Thursday, Andrew said: "I wish to reiterate and reaffirm the statements already made on my behalf by Buckingham Palace. My focus is my work."
Andrew, the Duke of York, was greeted with a barrage of cameras as he arrived in the glitzy Swiss Alpine resort of Davos where the world's rich and powerful are gathering.
