"Prime Minister is going to Russia tomorrow. If you look at our ties with India after independence, Russia hasn't done anything to hit our interests. You have a Russia which is turning towards Asia. Shouldn't we as an Asian country do what is good for our interests. It's not just Russian oil, it's coal. You will always keep your further away country good. The history is a positive asset in that sense," said S Jaishankar.
