NDTV visited the sociology department of Delhi University's Hindu College, where Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya once studied. Excitement filled the campus as students gathered in the same classroom - Room No. 27 - where the Sri Lankan leader once sat. Students told NDTV it was an "honour" to share the same space and learn from some of the same professors who once taught the Prime Minister. Many described her journey from a sociology student to Sri Lanka's top office as deeply inspiring and a proud moment for the department.
