Eric Falt Director and UNESCO Representative to Bhutan, India, Maldives & Sri Lanka said during the #RebuildingLives telethon that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought a sudden and unprecedented interruption of education which has increased the challenges of education in the country. He added that efforts are being made to match the responses to the on-ground needs and special focus is being given to the female learners.
