Tha challenges for lakhs of migrant labourers like Paduram all over the country have just begun. And it is as times like these that the work of organizations like the American India Foundation becomes even more important. AIF has served 272,000 people across 16 states of India and has now joined hands with NDTV to raise awareness and resources to complement the government's efforts to rehabilitate migrant families.
