Nishant Pandey, CEO of American India Foundation at the #RebuildingLives telethon said that due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, the scale and challenge of migrant population has become visible. He also said that migration is a very crucial part of a large number of people and migrants might not be local but contribute to the local economy. Mr Pandey asserted on the importance of people's ability to move without being exploited and be deprived of the social security scheme.
