When stress level increases, a hormone called ?cortisol' is released into the blood stream which then makes one hungrier and leads to binge eating. Nutrition and Diet expert Shreya Katyal says that cortisol is responsible for disrupting an individual's eating pattern as food diverts an individual's attention from stress, but only for a short period.
Desserts Can Never Go Wrong: Stressed spelt backwards is desserts and therefore they are one of the right choices you can make. These not only relieve stress, but also boost energy levels in body. Desserts can lead to weight gain, but two pieces from a chocolate bar won't do much harm. Ms Katyal recommends skipping a meal to consume a dessert.
