Delhi's night of rain, morning of jams

Commuters in Delhi had a harrowing time Tuesday with several key roads waterlogged following heavy rains that saw the minimum temperature settling five notches above average at 13.5 degrees Celsius.

The Met department says more rain is expected through the day and the temperature in Delhi will dip on Wednesday.

Commuters at Andrew Ganj, Mahipalpur, Hari Nagar, IIT crossing to Adchini, Yusuf Sarai Market, Munirka flyover, Badarpur border, Wazirpur industrial area, Ashok Vihar, Laxmi Nagar, Mahipalpur and Lala Lajpat Rai Marg suffered due to waterlogging. The minimum temperature was recorded at 11.7 degrees, three degrees above normal but the windchill factor added to the chill in the air.
