While speaking at NDTV-HelpAge India #SaveOurSeniors telethon, Mathew Cherian, Chief Executive Officer, HelpAge India said that elderlies mostly end up last and lost in the relief efforts because they cannot stand in queues. At the moment, senior citizens need food and medicines because most of them suffer from non-communicable disease which requires taking medicines on time.
