दिल्ली-एनसीआर में वायु प्रदूषण का मामला फिर से सुर्खियों में है. CAQM यानी कमीशन फॉर एयर क्वालिटी मैनेजमेंट ने GRAP यानी ग्रेडेड रिस्पांस एक्शन प्लान के मानदंडों में कुछ छूट की इजाजत मांगी है. इसके लिए उन्होंने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अर्जी दाखिल की है. फिलहाल सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने छूट देने से इनकार कर दिया है और CAQM से AQI यानी एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स से संबंधित चार्ट मांगा है. अब इस मामले में अगली सुनवाई 17 फरवरी को होगी.
सुनवाई के दौरान ASG ऐश्वर्या भाटी ने कहा कि हमें GRAP प्रतिबंध बनाए रखने के लिए कहा गया था. लेकिन क्या आप इस पर विचार करेंगे. अब हवा का रुख बेहतर है. इसपर जस्टिस अभय एस ओक ने कहा कि हमें 17 तारीख को एक चार्ट दें. हम उस पर विचार करेंगे. हवा की गुणवत्ता कब तक बनी रहती है, यह इस पर निर्भर करता है.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट 17 फरवरी को अगली सुनवाई में दिल्ली में GRAP मानदंडों में ढील देने पर विचार करेगा. एएसजी ऐश्वर्या भट्टी ने कोर्ट से पूछा कि अगर बेहतर AQI को देखते हुए शहर मौजूदा GRAP मानदंडों से नीचे जा सकता है. SC ने कहा कि कोई भी आदेश पारित करने से पहले उसे प्रदूषण के स्तर पर विस्तृत रिपोर्ट देखनी होगी. दिसंबर में कोर्ट ने CAQM को ग्रैप 3 और 4 में ढील देने की अनुमति दी थी.
