"When I visited BYD years ago, someone there said 20 years from now, we will make an electric car. That's the time horizon. China's fastest rail runs at 350 km/hr. It all started with an academic paper. That created the impetus for a high-speed track. We need that planning horizon and scientific infra to do this," he added.
