Bamzai said: "In the last five years, the government has supported a lot in regulations. You see now there are biologics that will come into the matter. We have a chemical entity that we launched in India, which we are taking to the global markets. Multiple companies are creating innovative products that will change the country's economics. I'm talking about semi-glutide, which became so big, it was adopted so beautifully, which created a big market."
Speaking on cancer, he said: "The cancer cell is unknown. A lot of research is happening. At Intas, we're working on delivering cancer products or therapy in a very different way. We're working on nanoparticle technology with lipids, which aims to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy."
On affordability, he said: "Look at the pricing that is offered in India. Most friends who come to India take all the medication and go back home. There's no debate on it. We are the country which offers the best science and the best prices. We tech in R&D. Intas has three in the US and one in the UK and another in India. We use different timezone to make sure the speed is high. We make sure the pricing of the product in such a way that more people can afford it."
